Yoga and Ayurveda for Longevity & Whole Body Wellness

Yoga and Ayurveda are holistic systems of wellness that bring transformation and rejuvenation to your body, mind and consciousness. Rooted in the ancient culture of India, they are based on the science that our bodies are comprised of energy and that intelligence dwells in our heart center. How we think affects how we feel, and vice versa. By nurturing this awareness of the mind-body connection, we naturally shift to a lifestyle of balance that can increase energy, reduce stress and slow the aging process.

Ayurveda and yoga give us the tools to prevent disease, restore vitality, and improve longevity. The key is understanding how to recognize energetic imbalances. You have probably experienced these imbalances in the form of an “un-diagnosable” health complaint. These can cause annoying symptoms such as stress, lack of focus, migraines, digestive issues, low energy, emotional eating, acne, anger, insomnia, anxiety, low libido, weight gain, feeling sad and much more. If left unchecked, these could worsen and eventually manifest into disease.

Rather than treating symptoms, the Ayurvedic approach is to target the root cause. By targeting the root cause, the symptoms leave for good and you return to total health. The beauty of this system is that once you understand the basic principles, you can heal yourself – naturally.

Ayurveda is a vast system to learn on your own.  But I’ve developed a system to help you understand it and reap its benefits in as little as 30 days. With your input, I tailor a plan that uniquely fits your life. Life should be fun and I’ll make sure fun is part of your plan. I’ll keep you moving forward, but we go at your pace so you won’t feel overwhelmed. I’ll be there every step of the way for support – I’ve got your back. It’s OK to call, email or text if you have a question. I know how busy you are so I’ll help you re-prioritize (or take short cuts). We’ll remove layers of stress.

I don’t prescribe pills. Your medicine is food, meditation and yoga. You will learn which foods will bring balance to your unique body; whether that means being an omnivore or vegan or somewhere in between is up to you. You will be able to go out with friends and not feel restricted when ordering. Fun. Balance. Moderation. We can do this. And remember, we’re not uptight about whether people eat meat or not. It’s about finding what works best for you.
